Estimate body fat for the study
We're looking for experienced coaches to estimate body-fat percentage from photos. Your estimates help us judge how well software can do the same job.
What coaches do
In the Built With Science coach portal you'll see sets of three photos — front, side and back — of people who volunteered for the study, and record your best estimate of their body-fat percentage.
- Faces are blurred, and each set is identified only by a number.
- You won't see names, contact details, measurements or anyone else's estimates.
- You work at your own pace, on a computer or tablet.
How approval works
- Apply with your details and experience.
- A study administrator reviews your application.
- If you're approved, you'll get an email invitation to the coach portal with a temporary password. You choose your own password when you first sign in.
We don't reply to applications that aren't approved.
Confidentiality
The people in these photos trusted the study with them. Every coach agrees that:
I will keep every photo I am shown confidential: I will not save, screenshot, share or try to identify anyone in them, and I will only use my access to estimate body fat for this study.
